Abstract
The leaves andwhole plant of Cleomeviscosa are used as a folk remedy to cure thewounds, ulcers, inflammations and skin infections. The present investigation was undertaken toevaluate the wound healing property of the leaves andwhole plant of Cleome viscosaonexperimentally induced excision wound model in rats. Thestudies on the wound healing models revealed that,the methanolic extract of Cleome viscosa possesssignificant wound healing activity,
